1.5kW Wind Turbine
The new Raum 1.5 kW Wind Turbine is a direct-drive, gearless, brushless design that allows for operation in a wide variety of weather conditions with little to no regular maintenance required. The 1.5 kW is a 3-blade horizontal axis wind turbine with fibreglass reinforced plastic blades with a 2.9 metre diameter. The turbine weight is 39 kg. The rated wind speed is 39 km/h (24 mph), with a start-up speed of 12 km/h (7.5 mph), and a survival wind speed of 180 km/h (112 mph). This wind turbine can be either grid-tied (which includes a CSA and UL approved true sine wave inverter) or a battery-charging model is available for off-grid applications.

3.5kW Wind Turbine
Raum Energy also offers a 3.5 kW wind turbine with a direct-drive, gearless, brushless design that allows for operation in a wide variety of weather conditions with little to no regular maintenance required. The 3.5 kW is a 5-blade horizontal axis wind turbine with fibreglass reinforced plastic blades with a 4.0 metre diameter. The turbine weight is 68 kg. The rated wind speed is 39 km/h (24 mph), with a start-up speed of 11 km/h (6.8 mph), and a survival wind speed of 180 km/h (112 mph). This wind turbine is a grid-tied (which includes a CSA and UL approved true sine wave inverter) wind turbine.
